    Exclamation

I read some old posts about how dbman rigged his vafc's map wire to the tps wire of the vafc, and created a boost-dependent fuel controller.

Can anyone give me more information about this? Has anyone else done this?

He had 450cc DSM injectors and no FMU. I'd like to keep my RC 310's and my Cartech. Is that a problem with this setup?

Go to www.honda-tech.com and search on "vafc hack".

I think you need the bigger injectors because you're meant to set the VAFC to very negative fuel trim values.

Go to thedropshop.com and I think all the install instructions and PICS are on that sight(if it's still up). Or just do what Holden said and go to Honda-Tech.com and search Vafc hack. Be prepared to read ALOT of posts though.

Most people use DSM 450cc Injectors with the Hack.

    Thanks guys.

Looks like everyone seems to say it makes their cars run "really smooth." I suppose since I don't get part-throttle detonation, due to added fuel for the low throttle maps around 2500-3500 rpm, I should be fine sticking to my current setup.
